SYNOPSIS

A portrait in the shape of a documentary film that narrates the extraordinary life of Doctor Ruth Westheimer, a Holocaust survivor who became USA’s most famous sex therapist. As she approaches her 90th birthday, Dr. Ruth revives her painful memories of the past as well as her career path leading the sex revolution.

Ryan White is an american documentary director and producer. Most recently White directed The Keepers, a 7-part Emmy-nominated documentary series for Netflix, and HBO’s The Case Against 8, which won the Directing Award at Sundance and was shortlisted for the Academy Award. White’s additional films include Serena, Good Ol’ Freda and Pelada.
