DIRECTOR’S BIO-FILMOGRAPHY

Cristina y Maria José Martín Barcelona are founders of the audiovisual production company Lasdelcine. They began their career working as assistant directors in films such as La vida en rojo by Andrés Linares, starring José Luis Gómez, Ingrid Rubio and Pilar Bardem.

Their strong bond with music led them to direct musical documentaries such as the renowned film En Granada es posible, which premiered at different festivals including the Malaga Festival and the Guadalajara International Film Festival (Mexico). The film was also nominated for Best Documentary at the ASECAN Andalusian Film Awards.

In 2019 they released the short film Mi hermano Juan starring Leonor Watling for which they have been awarded for several prizes including the Premio Fugaz for Best New Director.
