#PARLAGRAN FILM FORUMS
The #ParlaGran Film Forums are places meant to talk about cinema, but also about life. They are 100% participatory spaces in which older adults virtually meet in order to keep each other company, connect, reflect and discuss the subjects that they are interested in.
If you are over 65 years old and you want to join us in these meetings, you can SIGN IN.
Here we will publish the resulting videos of the meetings.
“LUISA NO ESTÁ EN CASA (LUISA ISN’T HOME)”
After watching the short film Luisa no está en casa (Luisa isn’t home), it will be analyzed along with her director, Celia Rico, in order to think about imposed role genders that old women have had to grow up with. How have these generations of old women lived the current feminist awakening? In which aspects have their lives gone through relevant changes? Which challenges do they foresee in new generations?
“OLDER ADULTS LGBTIQ+”
La GRAN Pantalla will invite to reflect upon the difficulties the LGBTIQ+ older adults have to deal with and the challenges that today’s society needs to take up order to eradicate the violent attitudes against the collective, all through a short film.
We will talk with María Álvarez, director of “Las cinéphilas”. As well as with the film analysis, we will think about movies that have had an impact on our lives and we’ll discuss on the importance of reactivating film theaters and cultural centers after the health crisis produced by COVID-19.
¿WHAT IS #PARLAGRAN?
👵 #ParlaGran is a space created by elParlante that seeks to work as a privileged speaker for older adults which goes beyond La GRAN pantalla Film Festival.
