En el altiplano boliviano, una pareja de ancianos quechuas vive la misma rutina desde hace a\u00f1os. Cuando una sequ\u00eda inusualmente larga amenaza toda su forma de vida, Virginio y Sisa afrontan el dilema de resistir o ser derrotados por el paso del tiempo. Con la llegada de su nieto Clever, los tres se enfrentar\u00e1n, cada uno a su manera, al entorno, a la necesidad de cambio y al sentido de la vida misma.<\/span><\/p>\n

Alejandro Loayza Grisi<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Alejandro Loayza Grisi,\u00a0fot\u00f3grafo y cineasta boliviano,\u00a0nace en 1985. Despu\u00e9s de estudiar publicidad y dise\u00f1o gr\u00e1fico en C\u00f3rdoba (Argentina) y\u00a0fascinado por la creaci\u00f3n de im\u00e1genes, se inicia en el mundo de la fotograf\u00eda fija realizando numerosas publicaciones y trabajos. Ha participado en\u00a0varias exposiciones colectivas e individuales en su pa\u00eds natal, entre ellas \u201cUn lugar com\u00fan\u201d, en la Alianza Francesa y la exposici\u00f3n \u201cMuestra2\u201d, en la galer\u00eda La Lagarta.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0Atra\u00eddo por la imagen en movimiento empieza su andadura como director de fotograf\u00eda en proyectos audiovisuales y, como director,\u00a0ha realizado numerosos videoclips para bandas nacionales, destacando siempre su aproximaci\u00f3n est\u00e9tica y su trabajada narrativa. Tambi\u00e9n ha participado en los dos \u00faltimos largometrajes de su padre, el director de cine Marcos Loayza<\/span>: Las Bellas Durmientes <\/span><\/i>(2012) y <\/span>Averno<\/span><\/i> (2018).\u00a0Posteriormente, se perfecciona\u00a0en la escritura (M\u00e1ster de Gui\u00f3n de TheMediaPro Studio) y en la direcci\u00f3n de cine para preparar su primer largometraje: <\/span>Utama<\/span><\/i>,\u00a0proyecto seleccionado en los laboratorios de Produire au Sud en Nantes, el Festival Internacional de Cine de Cuenca y el Amsterdam Post Lab.<\/span><\/p>\n

Utama ha sido seleccionado en m\u00e1s de 40 festivales internacionales y ha ganado premios en el Festival Sundance (Gran Premio del Jurado) y el Festival de M\u00e1laga (Mejor Pel\u00edcula Iberoamericana), entre otros.<\/span><\/p>\n
