SINOPSIS<\/h4>\n

<\/span><\/p>\n

Es una pel\u00edcula documental con escenas corales de tableau <\/span>vivant<\/span><\/i> (\u201cpintura viviente\u201d) yuxtapuestas con episodios documentales, capturando la crisis actual en el sector de atenci\u00f3n a la gente mayor finlandesa. Los testigos an\u00f3nimos de los trabajadores sanitarios se han compuesto en canciones corales. Los jubilados y los ciudadanos de edad avanzada cantan canciones impudentes que tocan con el argot econ\u00f3mico de nuestro tiempo, poniendo de manifiesto el absurdo del lenguaje burocr\u00e1tico que ha penetrado en todos los aspectos de la vida humana.<\/span><\/p>\n

La pel\u00edcula sigue, por ejemplo, los jubilados de un peque\u00f1o municipio en Finlandia Oriental, mientras presencian la privatizaci\u00f3n de sus servicios locales de atenci\u00f3n a la gente mayor y de los trabajadores sanitarios y, adem\u00e1s, se enfrentan a la digitalizaci\u00f3n de las curas, con robots itinerantes en los salones de las residencias y enfermeras relegadas a la atenci\u00f3n remota. La protagonista principal es Tiina, una trabajadora de curas que fue una de las primeras a mencionar las malas pr\u00e1cticas que se producen en Finlandia y que ha sido marcada en la lista negra y recibi\u00f3 amenazas personales.<\/span><\/p>\n

Con humor negro y momentos a veces sombr\u00edos pero conmovedores, la pel\u00edcula retrata el desajuste entre los cimientos \u00e9ticos y econ\u00f3micos del trabajo asistencial.<\/span><\/p>\n

Susanna Helke (1967) es una cineasta galardonada y sus las pel\u00edculas [<\/span>American Vagabond<\/span><\/i> (2013), <\/span>Playground<\/span><\/i> (2010), <\/span>Along the Road Little Child<\/span><\/i> (2005), <\/span>The Idle Olas<\/span><\/i> (2001), <\/span>White Sky<\/span><\/i> (1998), y <\/span>Sin<\/span><\/i> (1995)] han recibido reconocimientos y premios nacionales e internacionales (por ejemplo: el premio Jussi, tres veces el Best Nordic documentary Award, o el Special Jury Prize\/Q Hugo Film Award Chicago IFF) y han sido proyectadas en importantes festivales internacionales de cine documental y otros festivales.<\/span><\/p>\n

Helke tambi\u00e9n es una te\u00f3rica de cine documental y trabaja como profesora en el departamento de cine de la Aalto University a Espoo, Finlandia.<\/span><\/p>\n
